Purpose of the application
Personal Finance PWA is a private, self-hosted application used exclusively for personal financial overview and transaction categorisation.
The application connects to bank accounts through Enable Banking using read-only Account Information Services.
The application cannot initiate payments, create beneficiaries, approve transfers, or modify bank account settings.
Data processed
The application may process:
bank account identifiers and account names;
account balances;
booked bank transactions;
transaction dates, amounts, currencies and descriptions;
merchant and category information;
categorisation rules created by the user;
bank connection and consent status;
security and technical session information necessary to operate the application.
Pending transactions are not imported.
The application does not request or store online banking passwords, PIN codes, authentication codes or Strong Customer Authentication credentials.
Source and storage of data
Banking data is received through Enable Banking after the user explicitly authorises access through the bank’s official authentication process.
Financial data is stored in the user’s own self-hosted environment. Sensitive provider sessions and raw banking payloads are encrypted at rest.
The application frontend communicates only with its own backend and does not receive API private keys or provider credentials.
Data sharing
Personal transaction data is private by default.
The application does not sell banking data, use it for advertising, or share it with unrelated third parties.
Enable Banking and the connected bank process information as necessary to provide the Open Banking connection. Their own privacy notices also apply.
Retention and deletion
Data is retained until the application owner deletes it or stops operating the application.
Open Banking consent can be revoked or allowed to expire without deleting previously imported transaction history.

The user may request access, correction or deletion of stored personal data and may revoke Open Banking consent at any time through the relevant bank or provider interface.
Terms of Use
Personal Finance PWA is a private application intended only for personal, non-commercial use.
The application provides a financial overview based on information received from banks and Open Banking providers. Data availability, accuracy and timing depend on those external services.
The application:
provides read-only account information functionality;
does not provide payment initiation;
does not offer financial, investment, accounting, tax or legal advice;
is not a replacement for official bank statements;
may temporarily become unavailable because of bank, provider, network or self-hosting failures.
The application owner is responsible for protecting access credentials, encryption keys, backups and the hosting environment.
Use of the application may be discontinued at any time. Open Banking access may also be revoked at any time without affecting the user’s bank account.
